Improve Playlist Portability - variable base folders
While starting to use Zionworx 3.3, I have discovered (as mentioned in the Dropbox topic) that ZW stores the full path location for PowerPoint and media files. This makes transferring playlists between computers tricky, as the default locations are usually within the user profile (c:\users\name..).
It would be extremely useful to be able to specify the base-folder for each file type (e.g. C:\users\martin\music\; D:\zionworx\liturgy). When a playlist is saved, the relative path can then be stored as well. On opening on the other computer, ZW can check the relative path on the machine (base set to c:\users\projector\music) and if the file/folder exists use that location.
This is similar to the customisable "default file locations" used by Office, but is used as a "variable location" for moving ZW files between computers.
As the playlist package includes all files, this presumably will not re-use the existing files on the destination computer, so appears to duplicate "standard files" (e.g. PowerPoint liturgy).
Many thanks,

Hi Martin. Thanks for that suggestion and we will consider how it could be incorporated. You're right that the playlist package includes everything within it and doesn't reuse external files though the "duplicates" are within the package and not visible to ZionWorx normal directory browsing - e.g. media directories.
